Learn how to make camembert, haloumi, ricotta & labneh at home Complete with a tasting, wine and fun

  • From 150 Australian dollars
  • Wattle Bank Farm

Service Description

Cheesemaking is a wonderful skill accessible for all to learn. Over 3-4 hours, you will learn how to make Labneh, Ricotta, Feta and Halloumi in an easy format so you can duplicate at home. Each participant will take all four cheeses home as well as comprehensive recipes and your own cheese hoop. You will never waste yoghurt again once you know how to make Labneh. Ricotta can be made in five minutes and is delicious drizzled with honey. Age your Feta in your own environment to create a cheese that is as unique as yourself. Once you eat Halloumi crafted with your own hands you will not want to go back to the packet version again. A light lunch of spanakopita and local cheeses together with Wattle Bank Farm mushrooms and local bread and wine will be provided. We will taste test the ricotta and halloumi once it’s freshly made. The workshop will run for a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 12 people. You will also get a farm tour including the mushroom farm and a pat of a horse whilst you are at Wattle Bank Farm. The workshop will be run by Narelle, the quintessential Wild Earth mother. It is a hands on, fun and delicious Autumn afternoon activity. If you are a foodie, this one is for you! Boof for 1 - $175 and for 2 people special price of $300
