From Bit to Bitless Workshop - (Part 1)

No experience required. If you are a horse owner, ride or lease horses or perhaps would like to get back on a horse in a more Natural way, this workshop is for you. We have educated all of our 10 horses in this natural manner reaping excellent long term benefits for the horse and its rider. Over 3 hours, you will learn the following: - Why is the world waking up en masse now to 'bitless' - The benefits to the horse and the rider - The ethical principles - replacing force with time - How to have your horse softer and softer (any horse) - You will be taught & will make your own rope halter and 12 ft lead rope to take home - Demonstration on how to use the halter and lead rope - Ages 15+ ( we may consider 12+ if they are actively riding or own a horse) This Part 1 (beginner) workshop will also include a demonstration on the ground with the horses. Part 2 will be the in depth application of all the skills on the ground and bareback and bitless and why this is the basic start to Natural Horsemanship and a life long enjoyment of working, playing and loving your horse. You will be taught to make the halters in 2 sizes - please measure your horse or ideal horse by measuring from the bottom of the ear to top lip. The afternoon includes a farm tour and afternoon tea. Price is $250 plus GST - Total $275 per person - (in afternoon tea, halter and lead rope)
