A Sensory Retreat amongst the Horses

Service Description

On Sunday March 15th, we invite you to a sensory retreat at Wattle Bank Farm amongst the horses. Join us for a magical day dedicated to self as we root into the Year of the Horse. Over 5 hours, immerse yourself in the healing energy of horses through a journey of sensory experiences. Meditation and contemplation with the horses, journaling, circle work and gratitude wheel making led by Beatrice, Sound healing through the bowls and music by Nicky and Pete from Essence of Place and Reiki by Karen from Kilcunda Sanctuary. You will be served a beautiful and nourishing lunch using all the farm's produce as well as morning and afternoon tea. Bring a journal and a sacred item for our circle work. Blankets and chairs are provided but do bring what makes your own private ritual special to you. Wear something comfortable to walk and move in and layers to accomodate all weathers as we will be spending a lot of time outside. We have wet weather contingencies. 10-10.30am - Arrival, Morning Tea & Welcome 10.30am - 11.30am - Walking Meditation to the Horses, Immersion morning in contemplation, understanding the energy & interaction with horses on the ground 11.30-12 noon - Circle work 12-1pm - Nourishing farm lunch & gentle conversations & journaling 1- 2.15 pm - Sound Healing & Reiki 2.15 - Sweet treat, chai & gratitude wheel making 2.45 - Closing circle 3pm - Farewell - until next time. We will have limited spots and bookings are essential. We can cater for dietary requirements . Lunch and refreshments will be vegetarian and vegan. Can be purchased as a Gift Card. This one day retreat is about reconnecting with self through all of our senses - Experience sound, touch, smell & touch - Whilst most is experienced at a distance, reiki by Karen will be available for you to receive - If you do not wish to receive it, let us know at lunch time.
