Service Description
Who is this equine adventure for? -Experienced Riders -Riders wishing to get more miles up on horse back -Those wishing to take on their first horse back adventure -Those who do not own a horse -Those who love camping -Those needing a mini break -Small groups of 3 riders plus instructor -Suits adults and kids - Minors to be accompanied by parent on actual trail. Join us for an unforgettable 3 day mini break in the heart of Gippsland. This 3.5 day adventure kicks off at Wattle Bank Farm on Monday afternoon where you will get some tuition and be partnered with your own horse for the next 3 days. We'll pack up and then cook up a storm and have a dinner together. Of to bed early and up early the next day. Day 1- Drive about 40 minutes to an awesome bush and beach wild trail - morning tea and lunch on beach. End of day drive another hour to camp site, set up camp and make dinner and of course sleep under the stars. Day 2- A full day of riding and taking care of your horse, back to camp for dinner Day 3 - Thursday - Half day of riding, pack up camp and return to Wattle Bank Farm by 3.30pm Unpack, unload horses and gear, put all away before settling into a relaxation afternoon - massage, sauna and a warm meal before heading home. All meals, sleeping gear and drink (no alcohol) all included in package as well as horse, helmet & saddlery, transport. We use our local knowledge to determine the best ride considering the time of year and weather, and dress appropriately for all weathers. If you have not ridden for a while, you have the additional option to book a/some private sessions ahead of the trail at the farm prior to the trail ride. Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes cancellations or rescheduling need to happen due to unforeseen circumstances. Horse Experiences We require a minimum of 48hr notice for all cancellations and rescheduling to manage schedules of instructors and horses at the farm. If Wattle Bank Farm cancels or reschedules in the event of a force majeure, no charges will be incurred, and credit vouchers, valid for three years, will be issued as required valid from date of booking. If you cannot make your booking date, you can reschedule either with your next specific next date (if available) or be provided with a credit voucher to redeem at a later date (usable within 3 years of Date of Purchase). The first rescheduling will not incur any admin fees. More than 1 rescheduling appointment will incur a $20 fee per reschedule. For cancellations, as per the T&C's form issued on booking, a 25% cancellation fee is applicable if cancelling more than 48 hours before your booking. If you cancel within the 48 hrs, your booked service will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking amount. However you are able to transfer your booking to another person of your nomination or a credit voucher for your booked service can be issued towards a future booking (if applicable). Multi Day adventure camps and gift cards are non refundable. Failure to arrive for a booked and confirmed booking will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking. Cancellation due to weather - if there are severe thunderstorms or heat, we may need to reschedule for your own safety and that of the horses. We will contact you and offer an alternative date for the same service. If you cannot fit in new dates, we will issue you a credit voucher to the value of your booking valid for 3 years from date of original booking. Applicable for outdoor bookings. NDIS Bookings- Please refer to NDIS guidelines 2 clear business days (weekends and public holidays excluded). Farm stay Bookings: We require a minimum of 1 week's notice for a full refund. Note that no refund will be given for cancellations within 1 week of the booking start date. You will be provided with the option of rebooking a later date to the same value of your stay. If your new dates have higher rates, the extra fee will be required to be paid prior to arrival. You can also nominate another party to take over your existing booking.
